The UK Bus Driver of the Year Association depends for its existence on the support it receives from competing operators (who pay entry fees for their drivers) and the generosity of sponsors who help fund the prize money and the cost of all our trophies.

The drivers who take part in the National Final in Blackpool really appreciate the involvement of the various suppliers to the companies they work for, many of whose names are familiar to them, and who recognise that this is a unique competition. Unlike most other industry events it is aimed at – and thoroughly enjoyed by – the men and women at the sharp end whose daily interface with the travelling public is crucial to an operator’s success.
